Freedom 85! One Act version Premieres
In Toronto & New York!
Formed in 2008 to present Freedom 85 at the Toronto Fringe Festival, Hi-D Theatre
SOLD OUT that run and headed for New York! In 2009, while Tony Soprano played on Broadway, in NYC's East Village Freedom 85! quickly won the hearts of New Yorkers -- capturing both an Audience Choice award and a See-It-Twice award!
In February of 2010 the full length version of Freedom 85 premiered "on broadway" -- at Theatre Orangeville, 87 Broadway, Orangeville, Ont., then toured across the province to rave reviews.
In July 2008, the Toronto Star reported:

In February 2009, Freedom 85 made its U.S.premiere at the Frigid New York Festival, capturing the hearts of New Yorkers, and winning the Audience Choice award and the See It Twice award.
